Story Time

I am not nearly as good of a writer as my two older sisters, but I do enjoy writing stories and poems. There's something wonderful about having the freedom to do anything you want, there are no rules! Today was the first day in a long time where I became excited about an idea for a story I thought up and have begun writing about it. Ever since I came to Korea, I've been spending so much time out and about with the thoughts that I have to do something, but I suppose today was a good day to spend inside anyway since it's been cloudy and rainy all day. I've been trying really hard to stay busy and the first week of classes has been stressful since I have to find out what I can and cannot take, so I think having a story to write will be able to help me relax. Since I have a tendency to become obsessive about things, it helps to just concentrate solely on this for a few hours a day and not think of anything else.

Also, my oldest sister has a few writing projects going on right now and when I read whatever she lets me get my hands on, it makes me want to start writing again too. SEND ME MORE STUFF SAM! : {D

Anyway, re-watching the speech Neil Gaiman gave for a college commencement, getting inspiration from mythology/folklore, making a pinterest board for the story, and writing has been my day. Oh, I also went to my last class, which was good. I'm still going to have to figure out what to do about one of my classes that wont work, but 4 out of 5 of them being good turns out to be great odds! I don't have any classes on Fridays, so I'm planning an excursion to someplace cool after skyping with my favorite people in the world (the trinity: Sam, Alyssa, Bill) tomorrow morning (their Friday evening).

Lastly, I will leave you with some music, since I haven't posted any in a little while.
Watching youtube is really funny now, because I get Korean ads over here and they're so different from American ads! It's really interesting to note differences.
